“To say that his grapes are spun into gold would not be far from the truth; they are entirely otherworldly. 'Kermit Lynch' There are too many superlatives to describe the mythical wines of Jean Francois Ganevat. Since 1976 they have been focussing on wine production at their small farm in the heart of the Jura, where they work 13 hecatres of vines using biodynamic principles. They make tons of different wines and the tricky thing is getting hold of them. All are sensational, the whites rich and profound with amazing acidity, the reds, Burgundy Grand Cru level with an extra quixotic funkiness thrown in. We are starting with the Vin Jaune and will see what else we can lay our hands on, all very limited quantities so don't be putting 10 cases in the cart!
