Join us to taste some delicious and fantastic natural wines at Buon Vino, and find the perfect one for you! Here's a small sample of the wines we will be offering this weekend !

Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Furstentum, Albert Mann: Gewürztraminer                It offers a tightly bound bouquet of florals and minerals, as the lighter Furstentum soils gives. Off-dry on the palate, this was a wine of tautness; stylish and elegant, yet with intensity and richness.

Riesling Tradition, Albert Mann: Riesling                                                                         An attractive musky nose and a tranquil palate with ripe pear and apple offset by cleansing notes of mandarin, citrus and lime.

Côte-du-Jura Chardonnay sous voile, Marie and Denis Chevassu: Chardonnay    Delicious taste of honeysuckle and cream and a richer toffee pudding note. The palate cuts through with a pretty searing acid streak, lemons and melons.

Jurançon sec, Domaine Lapeyre: Gros Manseng                                                      Mouth deep and fondue at the same time gives for the fresh fruit. It is a balanced wine, well wrapped and long, a beautiful expression of Gros Manseng by the combination of fresh citrus nose and mineral finish.

Vouvray Les Morandières, Lemaire-Fournier: Chenin Blanc                           Beautiful aromas of white flowers, with hints of beeswax, dried fruits and nuts. It owns a good weight on the palate, with a powerful, distinctive bright acidity on the finish, typical of the Chenin Blanc grape.

Anjou Blanc, Agnès and Hervé Mosse: Chenin Blanc                                                         A delicious wild honey, fleshy apricots, quince paste and wood spice tastes. Once the wine warmed up in the glass, it develops secondary nutty aromatics and layer after layer of rich flavour.

 

Reds:

Primitivo, Fatalone: Primitivo                                                                                             Rich and concentrated with that fantastic warm southern feel that typifies Primitvo, it has sweet tobacco scents and flavours of sour black cherry, plum and toffee.

Sous les cailloux des grillons, Gravillas:  A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Grenache, Counoise, Terret Gris and Mourvèdre                                                 It’s bursting with bramble and blackberry flavours. There’s a savoury edge which is unsurprising given the savoury notes given to wine by Syrah and Mourvèdre!

Teroldego, Foradori: Teroldego                                                                                          This wine is marked by the purity, the dignity and the intensity of the grapes, Teroldego. Soft yet penetrating, its sweetness is backed by a supporting acidity that weaves elegantly amongst the fruit.

Pech Abusé, Domaine du Pech: Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Cabernet-Franc This blend offers expressive aromas of blueberry, blackberry and black fruit, mingled with earthy, smoky and mineral notes

Vigna Paradiso, San Lorenzo: Lacrima di Morro d’Alba                                       Lacrima grapes offers a very aromatic varietal and cherry taste to this wine with a  perfumed nose that varies greatly from the rustic nature of Sangiovese and Montepulciano (the other important red varieties of Le Marche).

Le Grain de Folie, Château Plaisance: Négrette and Gamay                                    This South Western wine is made with Négrette and Gamay grapes that give it strong notes of very ripe fruit. And make it well rounded and balanced with a satisfying finish.

Irouléguy Cuvée Haitza, Domaine Arretxea: Tannat and Cabernet-Sauvignon Located immediately below the Pyrenees, this wine is very bold and fresh wine, youthful colour, with lots of bright, cherry and rose hip aromatics, a dry charcoal note and refined mineral character
