Think you know Lambrusco...?

It's fair to say that Lambrusco may have struggled with an image problem in the past.  (Anybody remember the Lambrini girls?!)  The great news is, you can put any preconceived ideas aside because we have some stunning, naturally frothy wines for you to try, from Cinque Campi in Emilia Romagna.

These wines are the real deal.  Bio-dynamic, unfiltered and sulphite-free.  Spontaneous fermentation comes from wild yeast present on the grapes.  Cinque Campi have been producing these traditional wines on the Nizzoli family farm in Puianello di Quattro Castella, Emilia Romagna for 200 years.  Vanni Nizzoli has a passionate belief in organic principles and the balance of nature - and makes wines which truly embody the traditions of the Lambrusco region.

And, at Hipping Hall, Kirkby Lonsdale on Wednesday 17th May, we'll be showcasing these delicious wines, paired with a special menu designed by rising star Chef Oli Martin.
