A real jewel in the Bordeaux portfolio. Michel Dietrich is Alsatian by birth and a graduate of both Beaune and Bordeaux. He worked for 6 years in Australia prior to settling in Rions in the Premières Côtes. He has brought all of his winemaking heritage expertise and passion together to produce a superb range of wines.

His red wine improves with each vintage. It is 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. After a long cuvaison, it is aged for 6 months in Nevers oak barriques, 25% of which are new each year. Thankfully for us, this is Claret for £10 which is dry and slightly savoury as it should be, not with sickly sweet oak or over extraction. Lovely glass of every day Claret.
