Chateau Siran Margaux Medoc, Cabernet, Merlot, top quality Claret! A fantastic example of this famous Bordeaux appellation, made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. They are classic examples of this style with silky tannins and subtle spice. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with around 12 months maturation in barrels, 60% of which is new.

Siran is a fabulous 25 hectare estate in Margaux and the wines are beautiful. The average age of the vines is around 30 years. The majority of the vines are planted on alluvial sandy gravel and the blend generally comprises 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot with a dash of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot with fermentation taking place in stainless steel, and maturation in barrels for 12-14 months, 60% new.
