Cidre du Saint Bernard Mont Blanc Maley 750ml, sweet, natural, delicious artisan cider. Cidre du Saint Bernard is a traditional (Champagne) method cider that is bottled with some residual sugar, thus resulting in a delicious, slightly sweet cider with a delightful fizz and delicious crisp apple acidity to cut through the sugar. Flavours of bruised apple, cinnamon, mango and mint. Serve with Tarte Tatin, apple crumble or toffee apples on bonfire night for a low alcohol treat.
At Maley Mont Blanc, the magic takes place in the historic brewery of La Valdôtaine, and at Novalaise, the heart of Saboy. Linked by the Piccolo San Bernardo hill, the ancient orchards at Valdostan and Saboy produce perfect cider apples. The orchards used for the apple production are more than one century old, and cultivated at 1000m altitude, which produces unparalleled balance of acid, tannin and sugar concentration. Farming is organic, and they use the traditional method of refermentation in the bottle to produce their ciders without disgorging.
