La Vie Danse Petillant Naturel Domaine de Veilloux, natural wine, 100% Menu Pineau, natural whole fermentation in bottle. Petiilant Naturel is fast becoming the go to glass of bubbles for natural wine lovers. What makes Vie Danse so good is the grape variety, 100% Menu Pineau from clay soils, this is a much more serious sparkling wine than most Petillant Naturel. With deep aromas of toasted brioche and orchard fruits. More akin to fine Champagne with a touch of that wild note that you get with Petillant Naturel.

Based in Fougères sur Bièvre, Domaine de Veilloux is a family owned estate of 20 hectares of vineyards. The original domaine dates back to the 18th century when they produced all kinds of agricultural products like cereal and livestock as well as vines. Today, Domaine de Veilloux is owned by Michel and Silviane Quenioux with their son Arnaud working in the vineyards. The estate is managed according to natural principles using local grape varieties like Menu Pineau, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gamay. The soils are mainly made of clay but with little differences according to the plot eg clay with sand or clay with flint which make subtle differences in the final wine. Veilloux wines are respectful of their terroir and grape but also natural production and old vines yield wines which take time to mature to their full potential and even the whites are best at 5-10 years of age.
