Maskerade (Masquerade) Rose Frizzante Gut Oggau CROWN CAP, few hours of maceration on the skin, mystery blend, captured CO2 Pet Nat style so has a touch of frizzante, a brand new wine from the Oggau estate! This new Pet Nat style Rose from the Iconic Oggau estate in Burgenland comes from fruit from a new vineyard recently acquired and undergoing conversion to biodynamic farming. The masked character represents the fact that these vines are not quite ready to be included in the Gut Oggau family as until they were acquired, they weren't farmed according to the Oggau philosophy of biodynamic production. The wines are made in the cellar in the same way as all Oggau wines and do not lack vibrancy, style and freshness.


Gut Oggau is a 14 hectare Austrian wine estate located in the province of Burgenland by the Lake Neusiedl. The estate is run by Eduard Tscheppe and his wife Stephanie, daughter of a 2 Michelin star restaurant owner. It is a certified biodynamic estate with each wine coming from a single plot of vines with different terroirs showing different expressions in the wine. The individual personalities of the wine are expressed in the faces on the labels created by Jung Von Matt (German designer) and brought together in the Gut Oggau family tree. A unique and fascinating way of describing the wines, they taste every bit as intriguing as the labels suggest.
