Montlouise-Sur-Loire Grenouillere La Grange Tiphaine, Loire Valley, Medium dry Chenin Blanc, 25g/l residual sugar, ripe fruits, soft honey and floral blossom. Picked in early October to ensure a higher natural sugar content, this wine exudes rich white plums, subtle nutty undertones and gentle elderflower. The higher sweetness level backed up by pure acidity of Chenin Blanc, this is a perfect wine for slightly spicy dishes, bisque's, blue cheeses and white meats.
Coralie and Damien Delecheneau took over the family estate in 2002 and run everything organically with the upmost respect for nature and for the traditional techniques of the region. Harvesting everything by hand, the grapes are gently pressed in a pneumatic press before being transferred by gravity to cold settle in inert vats in the winery below. They grow Chenin Blanc, Cot/Malbec, Gamay, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Grolleau, which allows them to produce a varied wine list, all of which are elegant and balanced, with a true sense of place, thanks to their meticulous ethic.
