The crisp clean, wild yeast fermented Sauvignon Blanc from Peacock Ridge offers you all the zip and intense fruit flavour you might find in the Marlborough equivalent but at a much better price and backed up with natural production and sound ecological practises. Minerals, green apples, citrus fruits and plenty of zip!

The Waterkloof estate was founded in 2004, ending Paul Boutinot’s (of the epynomous importing business based in Gatley, Manchester!) persistent and uncompromising 10 year search for a vineyard site with the potential to produce truly fine wine with a defining sense of origin. Respect for nature, traditional wine making practices and minimal intervention are all key to their success. The wines of Peacock Ridge come from the finest sites of the W.O Stellenbosch appellation and are made using wild yeast ferment and sustainable viticulture.

2Reviews For Peacock Ridge Sauvignon Blanc 2020

  1. How good is this wine?

My one complaint is that this wine is far too easy to drink. It's fresh, dry, citrusy and uncomplicated. Just yummy and perfect on a hot summers day. At around £10 a bottle it's great value too.

  2. How good is this wine?

I pop into the shop all the time for this wine. Crisp, dry and a great quaffer.
