Pink Rose Judith Beck, organic wine, natural yeast fermentation in steel, fresh, vibrant, delicious. I would buy this wine quickly as every year it vanishes quicker than you can say, 'I'll have a Rose please.' The wine is crisp and crunchy and bristling with reds fruits, dry, zesty. the ideal glass of natural pink.

Winery Judith Beck is a 15 hectare estate in Gols in Austria's Burgenland which has been farming biodynamically since 2007, aiming to respect the environment and produce the best quality grapes, using native Austrian varieties. Judith Beck herself studied abroad at places like Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux and Errazuriz in Chile but returned home to take over from her father and move the winery in the direction of natural winemaking. They encourage the formation of humus as a basis of healthy soils, using their own natural composts and cultivating grass between the rows. Herbal remedies are also used and the vines are maintained under the rhythms of the moon. In order to produce authentic wines, they also avoid inoculated yeasts of any kind, and minimise sulphur, fining or filtration, with her Bambule! range epitomising this philosophy. These are sentiments and ideas we like at Buon Vino and the wines are really delicious, fresh and also great value for money, from an up and coming area that is producing some really excellent produce.

8Reviews For Pink Rose Judith Beck 2020

  1. How good is this wine?

A really nice summery Rose. Light (11%) and dry. Don't be put off by the hideously girly label - this has class and flavour. My husband loves it too.

  2. How good is this wine?

This is my favourite rose wine, ever! It is really refreshing, dry, with a hint of red fruit. I have already bought myself another bottle, and a bottle of Judith Beck's chardonnay in order to try one of her white wines.

  3. How good is this wine?

Our first taste of an Austrian Rose and were delighted. More taste and body than some French Wines that we have tasted but not heavy at all. Again, excellent value

  4. How good is this wine?

All of her wines are very well made and very approachable, without being overly simple or one-dimensional. Nice complexity.

  5. How good is this wine?

It makes me laugh that it looks like the description is "HOW GOOD IS THIS WINE?" because that's what I was saying while I was drinking it. Zesty, fruity, fresh, fun. What I always wish rosé was like.

  6. How good is this wine?

This is really fruity and so easy to drink, maybe too easy - I need to order more!

  7. How good is this wine?

A dry rose with red fruit - strawberry and cranberry. Lovely spice and green herbs coming through. Great personality on it. Would happily drink regularly.

  8. How good is this wine?

Really interesting and uniquely savoury rose, refreshing, but not boring at all. Will order again.
