Details

Pritianum Dolomiti IGT Bianco Fanti 2014, organic wine, Chardonnay, Manzoni Bianco, Nosiola, barrel fermented, rich, round and delicious. Pritianum is the ancient name for the town of Pressano where Vinaiolo Fanti resides. It a wine designed to capture the true characteristics of the terroir. A blend of Chardonnay, Manzoni Bianco with just a drop of Nosiola, Pritianum is a full bodied and serious drop of white wine. It has the soul of the mountains in every glass. Partially fermented in and then aged in oak barrels, it is a wine of layered textures and nuance which intrigues and pleases. It is a wine which rewards patience and with 5 years plus in bottle starts to show its rich personality. For those who like Burgundy, it would make a classy alternative from over the mountains.

Alessandro Fanti is one of the 10 wine makers who make up 'I Dolomitici', 'a group united by friendship, solidarity and by a common vision: to value and promote the originality and diversity of Trentino vine growing, while respecting shared production ethics.' A group of farmers basically, who desperately want to hold onto their traditional values and production methods and maintain their land with a healthy, sustainable and natural wine production. The only way for the future.
