Aldo Viola’s organic estate comprises of 16 hectares split between two sites near the city of Alcamo on the northwestern coast of Sicily.
A rigorous selection process assures that only the highest quality grapes are used, ensuring the label Viola lives up to its 4 generation reputation. Production is small, around 10000 bottles per year across 4 labels, which means that Aldo can oversee the entire process personally. Their soils are extremely healthy, thanks to organic cultivation alongside some biodynamic practices, which also gives the wine a strong territorial identity. The wines are bottled without filtration and with a minimum of sulphites.
