Clos Fantine is in the commune of Cabrerolles in Faugères, Landuedoc.  It is run by two sisters and their brother following the death of their father who started the winery in the 80s.

They maintain the vineyard with the highest respect for nature, though they are not certified organic or biodynamic.  In their words: ‘We have always worked to respect what nature has to offer.  Our pleasure is to listen to nature, to watch nature, and to allow her to have the energy and strength to express herself.’

Drinking the Faugeres Clos Fantine will bring you close to nature.  The wine is full of wild garrigue aromas, dark fruits and smokiness.
