Glen Scotia is a high quality distillery based in Campbeltown dating back to the 1830s, one of only 3 that remains in the region, from 28 at its peak.
It still maintains pretty much the same set up as when it began – including their maturation warehouse which dates back to the 1880s. They specialise in producing high quality whisky in this unique style, that is quite different from its better-known neighbours in Islay or the Highlands. With great water access and peat readily available, this part of Scotland is ideal for whisky production. By giving their whisky all the time in needs across all the production stages, Glen Scotia ensure that the resulting spirits are some of the best in Scotland.
