Barolo Perno Elio Sandri, natural Barolo, traditional production, long maceration, deep ethereal aromas and intensity on the palate. Superb for long ageing. In 1937 in the region of Monforte d’Alba on the Surì Disa, a hill at 300 metres above the sea level with exposure at the south-east, they planted vines of Nebbiolo, of the varieties Lampia (80%) and Michet (20%). Today the Sandri family still own 3700 vines of that implantation, from which they manage to produce 3500 bottles of delicious Barolo. The single vineyard Perno Barolo will reward patience and the investment in time if you leave it a few years to age in the cellar.
