Bourgogne Pinot Noir Perrin, organic Pinot Noir, medium bodied, fruity and quite viscous on the palate, 7 months maturation in barrels. The 5th generation of vignerons at Domaine Perrin are now vinifying using natural processes and are now fully organic. This lovely Bourgogne Rouge comes from vines in Savigny on clay soils. Many of the vines are 70 years old. Hand harvested the low yield grapes (35 hl/ha), the wine
undergoes a fifteen-day maceration in cement before elevage in ‘futs de chene’ for around 7 months. The wine is like a basket of small red and black fruits, strawberry, cherry, and blueberry, very charming and easy drinking.
