Brine d’Aprile Emilia Rosso Ca di Noci, biodynamic wine, zero added sulphur, Malbo Gentile and other autoctonous varieties. A fascinating wine made from gnarly old vines of Malbo in the Emilian hills above Reggio-Emilia. All work is done following natural and Biodynamic principles, no sulphur is added to the wine. This wine can be quite full and rich in a hot vintage but the 18 was wetter and the wine is lighter but in no way lacking anything. The abv of 11% makes it ideal red for lunchtime, the fruits are lively and clean, and the palate has a delicious crunch to it. This is one of classic Italian reds which when paired with any home made dishes from Italy, absolutely shines.
