Cahors La Fage Cosse Maisonneuve, biodynamic wine, 100% Malbec, rich, elegant, stunning dark wine. La Fage is Malbec par exellence! 40 year old vines, low yields and Bio production on clay and stony sloped vineyards above the Lot River, this is the perfect combination for delicious inky black red from the south west of France. La Fage is more concentrated than Le Combal and smoother with finer, more seductive tannins and a classy sheen to this often humble country wine. For Autumnal drinkng, it is a real find, well worth its price tag and showing just how superb and multi-dimensional Malbec can be!
