Cecchin Malbec Sin Sulfiti Familia Cecchin 2020, Zero added sulphur Malbec, full bodied and opulent flavours, lovely vibrancy, not the usual Argy Malbec. The new 2020 is again made with no added sulphur. Natural yeast and the non-interventionist approach of the wine maker make for a Malbec with a difference. It has more of a hint of something French about it and as a result is very food friendly. The 2020 vintage is absolutely superb. Sometimes, removing the sulphur can make the wine a little more funky, sometimes in good way and sometimes not. This vintage of the Malbec is a real belter. Pure dark fruits, ripe soft texture, hints of spice, like Cahors but a little juicier, this is Delicious red and outstanding value. A little natural gem.

Peter Scott –
This is a really interesting Malbec. Lighter and fruitier than expected but with the most extraordinary finish which gives you a hint of something like beef dripping. Slips down very easily indeed, and far too good for the price.
