Chardonnay Corvees Sous Curon Domaine de la Tournelle biodynamic wine, Jura wine made from 100% Chardonnay, Barrel fermented, little or no sulphur, full bodied and with a taste of liquid gold! Corvees sous Couron’s complex nose reveals itself through white flowers, honey aromas and a hint of grilled almonds. The mouth is thick and round with a great richness of texture and depth of flavour. The finish is long and opulent. Of the two Chardonnays from the domaine, Corvees is the fuller being on limestone, gravel and clay soils and vinified and matured for up to 2 years in barrels. The 2011 vintage (very little left) is outstanding now in its complexity, fullness and general all round gorgeousness. Jura wine has like great white Burgundy the capacity to age and develop its depth and body whilst maintaining the acidity and minerals which keep it dancing on the tongue.
