Clos Martin Vintage Armagnac Folle Blanche 1985

Clos Martin 1989 Vintage Armagnac, 100% Folle Blanche, floral, spicey, full bodied. This single vintage, single grape variety Armagnac is made using only Folle Blanche grapes harvested in 1989. The nose is quite floral and spicy with oaky notes and some dried fruit and violets. It has a full mouth, with youthful oak and tannin, softening to show some spices, vanilla and a touch of orange zest.

Clos Martin Armagnac is produced by M&T, near Nogaro, in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac.

The traditional stills used by Clos Martin's domaines are very small and allow a lot of the heavier, rich vapours to pass over with the heart of the distillate. Therefore Clos Martin’s Armagnacs always have a rich, earthy character and are fine, flavoursome and well-balanced
