Cuvee Trois Terres Joe Chandellier, natural wine, Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Aramon, organic, whole bunch natural fermentation in oak and concrete, 10 months maturation. The third wine from the Chandellier cellar is the more serious Trois Terres, with grapes coming from three different vinyards sites. Syrah : Red sandy clay and pebbles. Grenache : Sand on limestone. Carignan and Aramon : Co-planted, old vines with deep sandy soil with alluvial deposits. All these terroir are particularly well suited to the varieties. They are organically farmed and like the other wines, made with a totally hands off approach in the cellar. This red is more structured and has deeper colour, more body, structure and ageing potential. There are dark fruits here, sweet spice and meaty notes. This is a classic Languedoc wine, for hearty foods and stews, grilled meats, and mature cheeses.
