Don Giachino Brut Vin Mousseux, Biodynamic wine, 100% Jacquere, a local variety that makes crisp, elegant wine. It also makes superb Sparkling wine due to the naturally high acidity. There is that much Sparkling wine made from this Mountain region of France. But this is a lovely semi-sparkler and is a delicious aperitif. Don Giachino Brut is light, crisp with a touch of floral and then buttery, creamy notes. The wine is made in the traditional method like Champagne and spends 24 months on the lees. There are low levels of sulphur, just 50 mg/litre which allows the wine to open up and express itself. This makes a delicious apero, celebration wine or with shellfish, it would be superb.
