Edmund Gut Oggau,ORANGE WINE, biodynamic wine, undisclosed grape varieties, rare tiny production member of the Oggau family tree. This new wine from the genius of Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe come from a tiny vineyard growing completely wild with no intent to change it in any way from Eduard’s perspective. The indigenous grapes varieties growing there are undisclosed, (not sure Eduard actually knows what they are either). The skin contact wine they make is produced in miniscule quantity, a mere 48 bottles were available to the UK market for the 2018 vintage. The wine is superb, still very young, beautifully balanced and fresh so would be superb for long ageing and that certain Je ne sais quoi that all Oggau wines have, Edmund, our new Rasta addition to the family has in spades. This wine is the spirit!!
