MULLER THURGAU Buntsandstein Enderle Moll, natural wine, orange wine.  Muller is a light and bright varietal wine with lovely texture, freshness and grip.  Muller-Thurgau is noted for its juicy flavors of green apple, exotic spices, and tropical stone fruit. The grapes for the Muller Thurgau Buntsandstein are fermented with native yeast. They spend  2 to 3 weeks on the skins before being pressed and aged in used barrels for 10 months.  This is a bright and structured orange wine with great minerality.  It has notes of dried apricot, marzipan and yeasty nuances.

Sven Enderle and Florian Moll met at wine school and after travelling separably to learn their craft at various wineries in Germany and abroad, they came back together to jump on an opportunity to establish their five hectares of vines in Munchweier on the slopes of the Black Forest in Baden.

Here the soils are sandstone and limestone and are capable of producing Pinot Noir with lift and elegance and also different terroir expressions. Sven and Florian bottle 5 different expressions of Pinot with some 60 year old vines at the Muschelkalk and Buntsandstein vineyards. They work their vines biodynamiclly and ferment and age the wines in barrels sourced from the Dujac estate in Burgundy. However, they are not aiming for Burgundy style wine, rather their own unique expressions of light and elegant Pinot Noir which is atypical for the area of Baden.
