False Bay Sauvignon Blanc, dry, fresh, citrus, apples, crisp and easy. False Bay Sauvignon is a lovely wine for this price, a must try for an everyday easy drinking white wine. Far from being in your face or overtly aromatic (like some Marlborough Sauvignon we care not to mention) this little wine is really surprisingly elegant and moreish. The acidity is high and well balanced with citrus and tropical fruits, notes of lychee with some classic Loire grassy notes verging on asparagus. Excellent freshness and a good length round out this wine of really exceptional value. Would suit a variety of fish dishes, salads, light pasta dishes and spring vegetables or just on its own as an aperitif.

Phil –
Had this in a restaurant and got a bit hooked! A really smooth wine, no acid or tannin. Genuinely slips down. The slow brew with only the yeast on the grapes certainly works. Best served a few degrees below room temp – not too cold. This far too cheap.
