Fanny Sabre Cuvee Anatole Pinot Noir, light yet juicy, vibrant, Organic Pinot Noir. This is Fanny’s first release under this IGP which lies 8km east of Beaune. The soil here is iron rich like in Pommard, and the wine shares many characteristics, though is a little more vibrant and youthful (and half the price!) but is not without depth and subtlety. The wine is 100% Pinot Noir though the appellation allows Gamay and Pinot Gris to be used. Fanny Sabre Cuvee Anatole is light yet juicy and vibrant Pinot Noir. The vineyard follows organic viticulture and the wine is made with wild yeast fermentation. This Cuvee is named after Fanny’s youngest son Anatole. A lovely alternative to the bigger name wines from our favourite Burgundy producer.

A definite crowd pleaser. A bonafide vin de soif. But still enough lifted aroma & bright flavour to hold it’s own over dinner for 2.
