Fleur de Lotus NV, biodynamic blend of aromatic grape varieties Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling, Gewurtraminer and Muscat, it is perfect for Asian cuisine. The grapes come from the flatter lands where the soils are mostly sand, shingle and silt with quite a high proportion of clay. The terroir seems to have contributed to the delicious balance between richness and freshness in the wine. The Fleur de Lotus, symbol of balance and harmony is a delicious aromatic wine. It has wild honey, golden plums, citrus and baked apple. It also has a spicy character balanced with fresh acidity and subtle pulpy texture. For Gewurztraminer fanatics Fleur de Lotus is a must-try wine. On the palate it tastes dry – the very low residual sugar of 3 g/l adds richness but not really sweetness. They vinify exclusively in stainless steel so the wine retains the pure characteristics of the grapes and their freshness.
The Josmeyer labels are particularly distinctive. They are created in collaboration with different artists, they are designed to reflect the character of the wines they decorate.
