Gut Oggau Family Reunion Red 2016, biodynamic wine, rare bottling, Blaufrankisch, Zweigelt, a special and limited edition from a unique wine producer. The red Reunion is a blend of all the red grapes that normally go into Atanasius, Josephine, Joschuari and Bertholdi. The oldest and youngest vines together. The wine combines the intensity of the older red and the freshness of youth. Seamless red, fabulous balance, complexity and potential. Cellaring would be rewarded.

Me and my husband took a rare weekend away to Edinburgh for my birthday and visited The Timberyard where we had a tasting menu and wines paired up with each course. My husband chose this red as his favourite and right there and then we ordered a bottle online to arrive ready for when we returned from our weekend away. Now, when we drink this wine we will remember our precious time together and our lovely meal. The taste was paired so accurately with the dish we were eating. The smell and taste had a hint of chocolate, but not in a sickly sweet way, it was a mature flavour,
