IGP Terre Burgondes ‘Beurot’ Emmanuel Giboulot, organic and natural wine, 100% Pinot Beurot, age old local Burgundian variety of Pinot Blanc, barrel aged, creamy and delicious with fresh acidity. This very small production wine from Giboulot is only produced in certain vintages from a tiny plot of vineyard planted to ‘Beurot’ which is the same grape as Pinot Blanc but has been planted in Burgundy for centuries. The wine is naturally fermented and then aged in barrels with natural malolactic usually taking place. The wine is a unique balance of freshness, zip and acidity and a lovely mouth coating warmth and richness. Not Chardonnay but very definitely white Burgundy.
