Judith Beck PET NAT Bambule biodynamic wine, natural light fizz, no added sulphites, unfiltered, fresh and fun glass of bubbles. PET NAT M is part of the Bambule! range. The M on the bottle stands for Muscat Ottonel which forms part of the blend in this Pet Nat and adds a little grapey aroma. It’s sparkling wine made the ancestral way. No yeast, no dosage, just pure grape juice from the vineyard whole bunch pressed and natural yeast ferment. Fermentation starts and then the wine is bottled when there is still residual sugar left. The fermentation finishes in the bottle which gives the wine its natural perlage (Fizz). After a period of ageing each bottle is disgorged by hand. The Pet Nat can be a variety of different grapes and has a short skin contact, it is always, fresh, light, easy drinking, slightly bitter on the finish with great balance and great fun to drink.

Winery Judith Beck is a 15 hectare estate in Gols in Austria's Burgenland which has been farming biodynamically since 2007, aiming to respect the environment and produce the best quality grapes, using native Austrian varieties.

Judith Beck herself studied abroad at places like Cos d'Estournel in Bordeaux and Errazuriz in Chile but returned home to take over from her father and move the winery in the direction of natural winemaking. They encourage the formation of humus as a basis of healthy soils, using their own natural composts and cultivating grass between the rows. Herbal remedies are also used and the vines are maintained under the rhythms of the moon. In order to produce authentic wines, they also avoid inoculated yeasts of any kind, and minimise sulphur, fining or filtration, with her Bambule! range epitomising this philosophy. These are sentiments and ideas we like at Buon Vino and the wines are really delicious, fresh and also great value for money, from an up and coming area that is producing some really excellent produce.
