Jurancon Meteore Clos Larrouyet, biodynamic wine, Petit Manseng, Camarelet (local variety) stunning purity, fruit and freshness. Wow, what a bottle of wine this is, first tasted very recently, still a very young vintage so will develop beautifully over the next few years. In youth, the wine is racy and energetic, with soft stone fruits, minerals, tension and length. The Manseng varieties give a satisfying bitterness on the finish but there is also a hint of malo character, a subtle creaminess to the wine. It is superb for fish dishes, but Meteore is so pure and so well balanced, it is also fantastic as an aperitif . The 2021 vintage is absolutely marvellous.
