La Cueva Pais Carignan Hodgkinson, natural wine, Pais, Carignan, ‘Vin de Soif’ entry level only in price, not in quality or drinkability. What a find and great achievement, to make such a superb little drinkable red that ticks many of the boxes on our natural wine lexicon and come in well under £10. The fruit is soft and juicy, no harsh tannins, good acid balance and lovely fresh finish. A real crowd pleaser of a natural wine, ideal for parties and get togethers or a Thursday night Pasta.
