Le Campore Chardonnay/Sauvignon Il Pratello, biodynamic wine, 70% Chardonnay, 30% Sauvignon Blanc, zesty, creamy, elegant, barrel fermented and aged. Made from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, fermented in tank with some skin contact and then aged in barriques for a further year. Still a baby with great zest and freshness, rounded out by creamy oak. It has character and nature oozing from every glass. With age, the wine will mature and take on a deeper colour and more earthy and textural feel. But don’t get me wrong, this is beautiful white wine now, soft stone fruits, notes of undergrowth and that nutty, toasty oak which is perfectly integrated. This is a really excellent glass of Italian wine for lovers of white Burgundy.
