Le Lesc Rouge Plaimont, fruity, easy drinking, great value red. It is no surprise that it appears at many a fine restaurant as the house bottle, both red and white perform extremely well under a tenner. Or for a party, if you want your wine to taste like wine then Lesc is the bottle for you. Le Lesc rouge, a blend of Tannat, Cabernet and Merlot, is an honest, fruit-driven style red with cherry-skin crunch and some white pepper. Great with a plate of pimentos de padrones, a basque classic but will equally do some Yorkshire black pudding sausage and a good mash!

This is an easy-drinking red, full of flavor and is great with food or on its own!
I found it as it was being served as the house red at my favourite restaurant. It is excellent value and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a glass of vin rouge.
