Macchiona La Stoppa Barbera/Bonarda Biodynamic wine, old vines Barbera and Bonarda, long ageing, a vintage matured in bottle for 10 years, claret style, oozing notes of leather, earthy undertones & liquorice, all while keeping dark cherries and blackberry. Macchiona is a biodynamic red wine made from the very Italian grapes of Bonarda and Barbera but carries with it a note of the Bordelaise. The acidity of the Italian grapes add an extra dimension and make the wine unmistakably Italian. A matured vintage, drinking beautifully.
