Macon-Fuisse Domaine Christophe Thibert, round, soft, Chardonnay. The Macon-Fuisse from Christophe Thibert is really a mini-Pouilly. With its lovely nose of honey, pear and apple and great mouthfeel it will have you checking the label to see if you’re not drinking a more illustrious name. This is a Chardonnay for those who say they don’t like Chardonnay, a wine of truly delightful charm and drinkability, it is impossible not to enjoy. Richer than a Chablis, but with enough balance and freshness to steer well clear of being cloying.

A very pleasant wine with flavours of melon, and peach and yet not acidic. Ideal with chicken dishes, seabass and seabream
