Muscat de Rivesaltes Les Enfants Sauvages, biodynamic wine, 100% Muscat, sweet, fresh fruity dessert wine.  Muscat de Rivesaltes Sauvages is a triumph, a rarity in the region where these vin doux naturel are generally oxidised and very rich. This is a light, fresh and, delicious dessert wine with aromatic orange peel, zesty crispness and a grapy alluring nose. A lovely fresh drop of dessert wine with a sweet and lush aftertaste.

Les Enfants Sauvages came about rather by accident after Carolin and Nikolaus' search for a place in the sun resulted in them falling in love with this property with 8 hectares of vines near Fitou.

A far cry from their life in Germany where Nikolaus worked in his family's leather business. Carolin converted from architecture to take a course in Oenology and Enfants Sauvages was born. Their vines grow on limestone-rich soil, just 5km from the Mediterranean sea, surrounded by a rich mix of olive, almond and fig trees, as well as garrigue vegetation such as thyme and rosemary, which keeps the soil alive and healthy. No chemicals are used here, only herbal remedies. Most of the viticulture is done by hand - the only modern equipment used in the process is at the winemaking stage itself, but only as a means of encouraging natural processes to occur.
