Natural Wine Great Value Case – March 2023 – 12 Bottles. We have carefully hand selected a superb case of proper natural wines which over deliver on price and personality. The wines offer that lovely Raw natural flavour. We have added the delicious Biodynamic Gavi La Raia instead of Bellotti Bianco which has sold out. The new 2022 vintages of the wines from Hodgkinson in Chile are a step up on last year. The white has a little Sauvignon Blanc added which adds a degree of crisp fruit and freshness. The Cueva now has Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend which means more body and fruitiness in the wine. Both are great value. The Uva Tebbiano is a lovely example of textured white wine from the South of Italy. Then two great value reds, El Berrakin is high altitude Grenache grown in the Gredos mountains of central Spain. The wine gives full body and lush Grenache fruit but with vibrant acidity. Finally, the well recognisable Raisins Gaulois is always a great wine for the price, crunchy youthful Gamay, supremely easy drinking. So, a great case which offers nature, quality, drinkability and value. Cin Cin!
