Nc’Nean Organic Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl

Nc’Nean Organic Whisky.  Nc’Nean was established in 2013 by Annabel Thomas at her family’s holiday home in Drimnin on the west coast of Scotland.  Nc’Nean is a independent, organic whisky distillery that exists to create experimental spirits and pioneer sustainable production.  They focus on high quality produce and aim to leave a minimal carbon footprint.  They have established a net zero rating for scope one and two of their own production, ie everything within their control.  For example, Nc’Nean Organic Whisky use Biomass energy, a close loop water system and basically a zero waste distillery.  The packaging for the whisky bottle is 100% recycled glass and 10%% recyclable.  Nc’nean sources local as possible, organic Scottish barley and yeasts for the purest of flavours.  They work with two organic farms on the east coast to source their ingredients.  Stylistically, they want to make approachable, fruity Whisky similar to a Speyside Whisky.  The Whisky is beautifully smooth and elegant, a great whisky for all occasions.
