Pellarosa Aglianico Rosato Cacciagalli, Biodynamic wine, fermented and matured in terracotta amphorae, full bodied and structured Rosato, will age and develop, ideal for BBQs when it is too warm for red. A new Cuvee from Mario at Cacciagalli, a wine which offers easy fresh drinking and tension with something more, layers of rich Aglianico fruit and minerals underpin this dark coloured Rose wine. Made with a short maceration before being racked off the skins and put in Amphorae to finish the fermentation and maturation. A ‘serious’ Rose, for food, Olive oil based dishes, fresh Tuna, Salmon or Monkfish on the BBQ, any kind of cured meat or fish, Carpaccio and other such Mediterranean fare.
