Pinot Gris Frischbach Maceration Pierre Frick (ORANGE WINE), biodynamic wine. 7 day skin contact, no added sulphites, elegant, subtle and a note of tannin. A new Cuvee from this fantastic biodynamic domain in Alsace. Pinot Gris Frischbach Maceration Pierre Frick (also known as Grigio of course , although you wouldn’t find this in a cheap Trattoria for £4 a glass) which lends itself very well to skin contact. It has dark skin with lots of pigments and polyphenols. These give plenty of flavour, texture and complexity to the final wine. Shorter maceration means a fresher style. This wine has primary fruits such as red cherry, raspberry and red current alongside almonds and a dry slightly tannic savoury character. A fantastic wine and welcome addition to our growing Orange Wine range.
