Salice Salentino Puteus Mocavero, Negramaro, Malvasia Tinto, Montepulciano, rich, round soft, a wine you cannot fail to enjoy. The Riserva Salice called ‘Puteus’ is an example of top Puglian wine making. In this wine all the heat of the climate comes through in the glass with big dark black fruits, notes of mocha, cinnamon, vanilla, toast and spice all come through on the sumptuous palate. The wine unfolds in layers in the glass and the weight is held in check by crisp acidity and firm tannins. This is a rich red wine for hearty meals and is a great taste of the south. The wine will age beautifully for up to 10-15 years or so but is drinking very well know with already 5 years in bottle.
