Rioja Blanco Los Terreros Moraza, organic wine, Field blend based on Viura, maturation in steel, highest vineyard, super elegant fruit forward wine. Grapes are co-planted in the highest part of the Moraza vineyard, mostly Viura, with a little Garnacha Blanca, Malvasía, Torrontes, Calagraño and in the lowest part of the vineyard, Tempranillo. The predominant soil is alluvial with clay and limestone. The force of this wine is its precision, nothing like those suspiciously yellow white Riojas you often come across with netting round the bottle that taste of popcorn. No, this wine is closer to Chablis or wine from the Loire, no oak so on the white fruits, bit of tension but some maturation on the lees adds a note of creamy texture, superbly clean and easy drinking with a Paella.
