Rioja Garnacha Bodegas Moraza, organic wine, no oak, fresh, elegant rich, yet fruity and very approachable and an ideal partner to lamb. Moraza are in the Rioja Alta, North of the Ebro River with vineyards on a South Exposition. Vineyards are between 450m and 650m with Clay and limestone soils. The unoaked Garnacha or Grenache is drinking beautifully now, but could be saved for a few years if you wanted to. Personally I think it is a great party wine as it is a bit of a crowd-pleaser. Garnacha (Grenache) from this altitude is usually nice and spicy with plenty of freshness and this is the case here. Unoaked don’t forget and thoroughly delicious!
