Rioja Garnacha Moraza Magnum, rich, yet fruity and very approachable and an ideal partner to lamb. Moraza are in the Rioja Alta, North of the Ebro River with vineyards on a South Exposition. Vineyards are between 450m and 650m with Clay and limestone soils. The unoaked Garnacha or Grenache is drinking beautifully now, but could be saved for a few years if you wanted to. Personally I think it is a great party wine as it is a bit of a crowd-pleaser. Garnacha (Grenache) from this altitude is usually nice and spicy with plenty of freshness and this is the case here. Unoaked don’t forget and thoroughly delicious!
