Rose Marie Chateau Le Puy 2021, biodynamic, no added sulphur, oak aged after short maceration and dynamisation. Quite simply the perfect glass of Rose. This is a ‘Rosé de saignée’ (bleeding). The wine is taken out from a fermented tank of Merlot after a few hours once enough colour is extracted. The fermentation by dynamisation takes place in old oak barrels. The wine is bottled without fining, filtering and without any addition of sulphites. This is simply perfect Rose in every way. Although the colour is quite deep and the wine matures for a year in barrels, the freshness and lightness of touch is incredible. The aroma and palate are layered and complex and so you can enjoy this as a top bottle of claret for contemplation or just smash it with an amazing BBQ and be very happy.
