Sacred Cardamom Gin 70cl

Sacred Cardamom Gin, Cardamom infused Gin – delicious summer drinking! This particular edition from Sacred is a wonderful tribute to one of the most fragrant spices available. They re-distill their excellent base gin with Guatemalan green Cardamom, producing a higly aromatic, fresh and intriguing gin. Pairs perfectly with indian tonic, or even with ginger beer – but great for cocktails.

Sacred Spirits was founded in 2008 when Londoner and distiller Ian Hart decided to leave the stock market and start distilling.

His aim was to ensure that London, the city so synonomous with Gin, was portrayed in a more positive light with regard to the spirit. In his search of quality, instead of using traditional pot distillation, Ian opted for vacuum distillation as a way to preserve the richness of flavour and aromas of his hand-picked botanicals. Complete with bespoke handblown glassware from York, gave him complete control from his front room in Highgate. The inclusion of frankincense, Boswellia sacra in Latin showed his innovation and desire to create unique, quality spirits. It also gave the brand its name. Today they produce a range of gins and other spirits, particularly geared towards Negroni cocktails, yet no compromise has been made on quality, with many of the products now certified organic.
