Sacred Dry Gin 70cl

Sacred London Dry Gin, micro-distilled, organic botanicals, vacuum distilled, creamy, balanced and subtle. This gin from micro-distillery in Highgate is made with 12 organically sourced botanicals, including fresh cut citrus, juniper, cardamom, nutmeg and a type of frankincense called Boswellia sacra (hence the name), then distilled under vacuum, giving a distinctive lush and fresh character. Double gold medal winner. Serve with premium tonic, a wedge of lemon and a sprig of thyme.

Sacred Spirits was founded in 2008 when Londoner and distiller Ian Hart decided to leave the stock market and start distilling.

His aim was to ensure that London, the city so synonomous with Gin, was portrayed in a more positive light with regard to the spirit. In his search of quality, instead of using traditional pot distillation, Ian opted for vacuum distillation as a way to preserve the richness of flavour and aromas of his hand-picked botanicals. Complete with bespoke handblown glassware from York, gave him complete control from his front room in Highgate. The inclusion of frankincense, Boswellia sacra in Latin showed his innovation and desire to create unique, quality spirits. It also gave the brand its name. Today they produce a range of gins and other spirits, particularly geared towards Negroni cocktails, yet no compromise has been made on quality, with many of the products now certified organic.
